NE Talks digital library will be the knowledge bank of North East.

This digital library aims at preserving the rich cultural heritage of the northeast region of India with in-depth research, study and error-free documentation. The archives will contain details about the rich flora and fauna of the region, its bio-diversity, national parks, tourism hotspots, vivid and varied cultures of the people, their life styles, dialects, food habits etc.

The region is a vast treasure trove of ancient folklore which is yet to be documented and brought into limelight. Since a majority of the tribal inhabitants of the Northeast do not have any written form of dialects, these folklores are on the verge of extinction. The NE Talks research wing is engaged in a gargantuan task of compiling these folklores and preserve them in the digital format.

The NE Talks digital archives will be the biggest and one of the best information retrieval forum in the Northeastern region which will be a boon for researchers and students.
